The Shawshank Redemption (1994, USA)

The Shawshank Redemption

Yeah, yeah, great film but where would it be without Morgan Freeman’s narration? Well, still very good, even if one has to suspend disbelief a few times. But everyone has seen Shawshank and it’s a great yarn.

‘Everyone has seen Shawshank’…well now maybe and yes it has taken me 20 years!!! I really enjoyed it and unashamedly was hoping for the fairytale ending (Yay! I got it). Despite how good it was I do agree with it not being in the top ten.

This should be in the top ten. When making a “top movie” list you do have to take into account the gross receipts.

It was in the Top 10 the last time I looked, Micheal. Oh, and Tracey.
